Town Hall Forums
Join the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota for an empowering and educational Town Hall Forum and help advance the lives of individuals with disabilities. You will learn how the 2009 legislative session impacts Minnesotans with disabilities as well as gain valuable advocacy tools. You also will have the opportunity to speak directly to your legislators about your challenges and successes living with brain injury.

Rochester Area Brain Injury Community Committee
The Rochester Area Brain Injury Community Committee (BICC) will present its 11th Conference on Brain Injury on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Ramada Conference center in Rochester. Information and educational opportunities will be provided for consumers, families, providers, support staff and anyone with an interest or involvement with the brain injury community.

Registration is $25 for survivors or family members with a $40 maximum per family and $50 for professionals.  Lunch is included with registration.

Call for Speakers Bureau Presenters
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, falls are the leading cause of brain injury. Each year, 1.6 to 3.8 million sports/recreation-related concussions occur in the United States. The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota Speakers Bureau program is looking for individuals willing to speak to groups about their personal story of brain injury as it relates to falls or a sports/recreation related concussion. Classified Ad Opportunities
We are pleased to provide an online opportunity for organizations to broadcast their message about job openings, services and more through affordable, convenient advertising. This bi-weekly electronic publication is sent to more than 4,000 professionals, paraprofessionals and persons with brain injury and their families.

The cost to run a classified ad of up to 250 words is $20 for one edition or $30 for two editions. Ads must be submitted in electronic form to receive this rate. Ads submitted in hard copy will be charged an additional $15 administrative fee.
