Veterans Fold Cranes for Brain Injury
Brain injury has been described as the "signature injury" of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is committed to ensuring that all returning veterans as well as veterans of all previous wars receive the services and supports they need to help them live the lives they desire.

There currently are 100,000 Minnesotans living with a disability due to brain injury and the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is in the process of collecting 100,000 paper cranes as part of their Cranestorm project to better illustrate this shocking statistic to the public. On Veterans Day, November 11 from 1 to 3 p.m., the Association will be hosting a crane folding session with members of the United Health Care Vet Teams and invites all veterans to join in the crane folding fun.

No experience is necessary, as crane folding techniques will be demonstrated by Association Volunteer staff. The goal of this activity is to spread awareness of the prevalence of brain injury in Minnesota as well as the services the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota has to offer to veterans.

Join us on November 11, Veteran's Day for Cranestorm at the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota. Call Anna at 612-378-2742 or 800-669-6442 for more details.
