The Statewide Needs and Resources Assessment

Do you have ideas on improving brain injury services and supports in Minnesota? Do you believe your elected officials are fulfilling their obligations to the health care community? Would you like a place to air your views with the full confidence that they will be listened to and considered?

The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota is excited to be participating in the Minnesota Statewide Needs and Resources Assessment for individuals with brain injury funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) State TBI Grant. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to address their thoughts and opinions about brain injury services in Minnesota directly to the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota, the Minnesota Departments of Human Services and Health (DHS and MDH), the DHS TBI Advisory Committee, the TBI Interagency Leadership Council and your elected officials.

An online survey is now online; this survey is an important step in the process of gathering the insights, experiences and opinions of individuals affected by brain injury. We hope to hear from individuals with brain injuries, their families and friends, caregivers and providers. It will take all of these perspectives for us to fully understand what is working well and where we still need to invest our resources and efforts. Click here to take part in this survey.

If you need telephone assistance in completing the survey, please call the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota at 800-669-6442.
