8th Annual Walk for Thought
Since 2001, thousands of individuals who have experienced brain injury, their loved ones, and the professionals who work with them, have come together for one event to commemorate their strength and success, as well as to remember those who were lost to brain injury. This year, the Walk for Thought honors and celebrates Minnesota's veterans and we look forward to working with many veterans organizations throughout the state.

This year's Walk takes place in St. Paul's Como Park, Rochester's Silver Lake and Duluth's Canal Park on September 26.

Online registration is available now, so visit our Walk for Thought page, set up your team and start collecting donations today!

Calling All Veterans
The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota will be honoring all veterans, as the 8th Annual Walk for Thought Honors and Celebrates Minnesota Veterans on Saturday, September 26, 2009. We are looking for recent veterans who sustained a traumatic brain injury in combat, as well as any and all veterans of all ages and wars to share their own personal story of brain injury. As the Walk's Ambassadors/Spokespersons, we would like to hear from vets about their journey of hope and recovery. If you or someone you know would like to be one of our Walk Ambassadors, please contact the Public Awareness Director, Pat Marciniak at 612-378-2742, 800-699-6442 or at patm@braininjurymn.org for further information.
