Recent Veterans Needed for Public Awareness Opportunity
If you are a veteran of the Iraqi or Afghanistan wars and sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury in combat or know of someone who has, the Public Awareness Department would like to hear from you. We are looking for individual veterans (or their family members) who would be willing to share their journey of disability, recovery and hope to help other veterans and their families in coping and learning about what may be an undiagnosed injury. Veterans and their families must be willing to share their story through media interviews to bring awareness to the general public about this invisible injury of the war.

Veterans would also become part of our Walk Ambassador program at the 8th Annual Walk for Thought as the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota Honors and Celebrates Minnesota Veterans on Saturday 26, 2009 at Como Park in St. Paul, Minnesota.

For further information or to share your story please contact the Public Awareness Director, Pat Marciniak at 612-378-2742 or 800-699-6442 or at
