1. Call Erica to register and get $5 toward lunch.
2. Schedule meetings with your legislators in advance, ideally between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Or, tell Erica if you would like help setting up an appointment.
3. Plan how to get to the Dept. of Transportation Cafeteria and where to park. Click here for a map of the Capitol grounds.
4. Prepare your personal story to share with legislators.

Due to the Capitol construction we will not be holding Disability Day at the Capitol this session which means our Tuesdays at the Capitol are more important than ever to share stories of individuals and families affected by brain injury with policymakers. We will be at the Capitol every Tuesday at 10 a.m. beginning January 13.

To register for our 2015 Legislative Kick-off or any Tuesday at the Capitol call Erica at 612-877-7905 or contact Jeff Nachbar or Erica Schmiel. Be sure to visit our Advocacy Action Center.

A Great Way to End 2014
Please finish off the year by making a donation to the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance. For every dollar you give, you raise awareness about falls prevention, proper helmet use, shaken baby syndrome, brain injury and homelessness, sports concussions, and numerous other issues related to brain injury. Whatever your reason for giving and however you give, know that you make a difference! To make your gift, click here.

If you have already donated, we cannot thank you enough. Because of your generosity and the programs you support, the more than 100,000 Minnesotans who live with a disability due to brain injury have a voice.
