Registration is required for all classes. Brain Injury Basics takes place in the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance offices in Roseville from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $25 for professionals; a $5 donation is appreciated from consumers.

Anderson Companies Charity Golf Tournament

Call for Participants in Clinical Study
Sarah Shadi, Ph.D. student in the APA-accredited clinical psychology program from Alliant International University's, San Francisco campus, is conducting research in an attempt to understand feelings of social isolation in people with brain injuries.
-You must be between the ages of 18-75.
-You must have a diagnosed brain injury that occurred two or more years ago.
-You must be able to read and write English.
If you meet eligibility criteria you will be asked to complete a brief survey that may take 30 minutes to an hour. In order to learn more about this study, or to participate in it, please click the here.
The survey will remain open until the maximum of 250 responses are received.

University of Minnesota Research Study - Participants Needed
The Brain Plasticity Laboratory within the Divisions of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Minnesota is actively recruiting participants for a research study to investigate brain connections related to body awareness and upper limb recovery after stroke. This therapist-based therapy will be given for 6 weeks, 3 times a week, for 45 minutes in June - July 2017.
People with stroke must:
• Be greater than 30 years of age
• Be able to hear and comprehend the instructions given in the study
• Have no metal implants in the body
• Not be pregnant
• Be diagnosed with stroke at least 6 months ago
• Have the cause of stroke due to a clot in the brain (= ischemic stroke), NOT due to bleeding
• Have no other injuries or illnesses unrelated to stroke
