COVID-19 and Our Organization

After careful consideration, the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance/Minnesota Stroke Association is modifying our services to continue to provide the best possible support to individuals while still following state and federal recommendations on how to best reduce the chances of spreading COVID-19. We will be monitoring the situation closely, but plan to provide modified services remotely into April. At that time, we will evaluate whether we can responsibly return to previous operational methods. Our hosted events and education classes have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future. More information is contained in the email below.

Please continue calling 612-378-2742 or 800-669-6442. Although you will reach a voicemail, staff will be monitoring messages and will return calls in order of priority. If you are having a medical emergency, please call 9-1-1. If you prefer contacting us through email, you can use info@braininjurymn.org.

We urge everyone for calm, not to panic, focus on positives, and turn off social media and the news if you are feeling overwhelmed.

We have a webpage dedicated to COVID-19 and how it affects our organization, as well as helpful links and information for all.

2020 Annual Conference for Professionals in Brain Injury Cancelled
The Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Annual Conference for Professionals in Brain Injury out of concern for our attendees and consideration for those facing increasingly tight travel restrictions.

This is not a decision we made lightly, however the downsides to continuing with the Conference greatly outweighed any conceivable advantages. Our first thoughts are for the health and safety of our attendees, presenters, and vendors as well as Earle Brown Heritage Center staff.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance at 612-378-2742 or 800-669-6442.
